It is an honor to be allowed to be a part of helping people to make their lives a little easier, to heal from past hurts, to live their best lives.
What is something you wish people knew about therapy?
That it will entail openness to change and willingness to work.
Why/how can people benefit from therapy?
Having a neutral space to share and set goals to make improvements or changes that benefit them, process the past, being heard, seen and validated.
What is something you’d like clients to know about you (or how you work)?
I don’t think therapy needs to be forever, and am highly motivated to “talk myself out of a job” and help others develop self-sufficiency to manage things on their own.
What does success in therapy look like to you?
Someone leaving therapy feeling better than when they entered.
What are your thoughts about the “stigma” of therapy?
It is far less of an issue than it has ever been in the past…

Rhonda has provided individual and group therapy, specializing in social skills, behavior problems, relationships, anxiety, and depression since 1997. She has been providing psychotherapy since 2010 in adolescent health in a primary care clinic and within a public-school setting. Although the majority of her work has been with adolescents and their families, she has also worked extensively with adults through parenting classes and sessions for families. Rhonda is experienced in working with family and relationship dynamics.
