Meet Rhonda

A book that you think everyone should read:

The Four Agreements-Don Miguel Ruiz

What is your go-to “feel-good” song?

“Better Together”-Jack Johnson

Other than mental health, what is something you’re passionate about?

Social justice, my family, traveling.

Do you have any secret talents?

Not a single secret one, if it is a talent, I share it.

What is your favorite quote?

“When you know better, do better”-Maya Angelou

What do you do for self-care-love?

Spend time with people I love, handle my business, kayak, get monthly massages.

Who is your ideal client?

Anyone who is open to doing some work and making change.

Why do you like being a therapist?

It is an honor to be allowed to be a part of helping people to make their lives a little easier, to heal from past hurts, to live their best lives.

What is something you wish people knew about therapy?

That it will entail openness to change and willingness to work.

Why/how can people benefit from therapy?

Having a neutral space to share and set goals to make improvements or changes that benefit them, process the past, being heard, seen and validated.

What is something you’d like clients to know about you (or how you work)?

I don’t think therapy needs to be forever, and am highly motivated to “talk myself out of a job” and help others develop self-sufficiency to manage things on their own.

What does success in therapy look like to you?

Someone leaving therapy feeling better than when they entered.

What are your thoughts about the “stigma” of therapy?

It is far less of an issue than it has ever been in the past…
